In 2009, Sanjo Construction was involved in a largescale pharmaceutical plant upgrade. Here we gained valuable experience in the installation of clean room and HVAC systems and Sanjo Pharma (Pty) Ltd was established. In 2011, the company secured the distribution rights for Pharma Technologies International Ltd, a turnkey solution provider for the Pharma, Biotech and Healthcare industries. Since then, Sanjo Pharma (Pty) Ltd has been a turnkey solution provider to the pharmaceutical manufacturing and includes numerous multinational companies in its client portfolio.

Cleanrooms are ostensibly used in the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment where cross contamination and microbial growth risk has to be eliminated The modular room usage can also be found in the biotech, medical, cosmetic, health and beauty industries
